philosophy and medicine. Qigong combines physical exercises, breathing techniques and meditative practices.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2673\" data-end=\"3017\">The concept of <strong data-start=\"2688\" data-end=\"2698\">qi (\u6c23)<\/strong> \u2013 often translated as life force or vital energy \u2013 runs through the entirety of Chinese philosophy and culture.\u00a0The philosophical understanding of a single primordial energy has existed for thousands of years. Qi is regarded as the force underlying the birth, existence, transformation and disappearance of all things.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3019\" data-end=\"3313\">Qi fills and permeates the entire universe, while also representing the inner vitality and life-giving force within all living beings. In modern Western terminology, qi is often translated as <strong data-start=\"3211\" data-end=\"3221\">energy<\/strong>, though it refers to a specific type of life energy characterised by strength and vitality.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3315\" data-end=\"3730\">In Chinese medicine, qi manifests in both <strong data-start=\"3357\" data-end=\"3390\">material and immaterial forms<\/strong> within the human body \u2013 as tissues and bodily fluids, but also as mental qualities, emotions and consciousness. The smooth and unobstructed flow of qi through the body\u2019s meridians is believed to ensure good health and longevity. However, environment, lifestyle and external influences can disturb this balance and affect overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3732\" data-end=\"3930\">The Chinese word <strong data-start=\"3749\" data-end=\"3761\">gong (\u529f)<\/strong> refers to learning or training that requires effort, time and dedication. Qigong therefore represents the <strong data-start=\"3868\" data-end=\"3901\">cultivation and mastery of qi<\/strong> through consistent practice.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3932\" data-end=\"4254\">Practising qigong develops focus, determination and inner strength. It is often said that the true effects of qigong become noticeable after practising daily for at least 100 consecutive days. Although regular practice brings the greatest benefit, a common saying remains: <strong data-start=\"4205\" data-end=\"4254\">even occasional pra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3932\" data-end=\"4254\"><strong data-start=\"4205\" data-end=\"4254\">ctice is better than none.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4256\" data-end=\"4259\" \/>\n<h1 data-section-id=\"1dum301\" data-start=\"4261\" data-end=\"4273\">Qi Massage<\/h1>\n<p data-start=\"4275\" data-end=\"4412\"><strong data-start=\"4275\" data-end=\"4289\">Qi massage<\/strong> is a therapeutic massage based on the philosophy of Chinese medicine and designed to support overall wellbeing and health.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4414\" data-end=\"4716\">Through qi massage, the body\u2019s natural self-healing capacity can be strengthened. The aim is to ensure the unobstructed flow of energy within the body. According to the meridian theory of Chinese medicine, blockages in the flow of qi \u2013 life energy \u2013 may lead to pain, discomfort and eventually illness.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4718\" data-end=\"4979\">During a qi massage, the main energy channels and acupuncture points on the <strong data-start=\"4794\" data-end=\"4811\">feet and back<\/strong> are stimulated in a specific sequence. The treatment has a relaxing effect, stimulates the circulation of energy and blood, and helps reduce pain and stagnation of qi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4981\" data-end=\"5237\">An important part of the practice is finding the correct resting position of the body \u2013 aligning limbs and energy channels properly. These principles can also be applied in everyday life to support health, strengthen immunity and improve overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5239\" data-end=\"5446\">Qi massage is suitable for most people and has <strong data-start=\"5286\" data-end=\"5322\">no significant contraindications<\/strong>.
