\nPro Lactoferrin Immun provides premium lactoferrin with buffered vitamin C to support the body’s defenses and iron balance.<\/p>\n

Lactoferrin is a very versatile immune protein with numerous antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, which also performs functions in iron metabolism. It is especially concentrated in protective breast milk. As part of the innate immune response, it is present in many body secretions, mucous membranes and special defense cells (neutrophil granulocytes), which are released during infections and inflammations.<\/p>\n

Lactoferrin is obtained from cow’s milk or whey. If the extracted protein is not thoroughly purified, it may be contaminated with endotoxins and other milk-derived contaminants and therefore unusable by the body.<\/p>\n
