Sten is at Loodus BIOSPA for the first time, although he has fasted on his own before. This time, he was looking for something more: clarity, structure, and an environment that would support the entire process from beginning to end.

You have fasted before. What is the biggest difference between fasting at home and being here on the programme?

The biggest difference is the environment. At home, there are constant distractions — family, food, smells, everyday life.

At the same time, You have to cook for others and ignore all of it Yourself. Here, that is not the case. Here, it is easier, because one major factor has simply been removed.

And then there are all the treatments and the daily schedule — that creates a framework. I have never set as many alarms on my phone as I have here. The day is so well structured — activities, treatments, care. It supports the whole process tremendously.

Did anything here surprise You, considering You already had previous experience?

Honestly, not really. I already had a fairly good understanding — I had read, researched, and also tried it myself. I did not come here completely blind. Everything felt quite logical.

Was there anything that felt uncomfortable, but in hindsight seemed necessary?

Yes, definitely the colon cleansing. It is not the most comfortable part, but at the same time You understand that it is important and actually very beneficial.

Have You gained any new insights here, or perhaps had something confirmed?

More confirmation, really. Being here helps You understand more clearly why movement, breathing, and all the small details matter. It gives You the full picture.

Have You noticed any changes in Your habits or in Your life more broadly?

Over the past year, I have quit nicotine and started paying much more attention to nutrition and movement. Coming here helps You bring Your focus back.

What is the most noticeable effect of cleansing for You?

For me, it is mental clarity. My thoughts feel cleaner, my focus is better. That is even more important than the physical side.

Is that what people call “fasting euphoria”?

I would not call it euphoria. It is more a sense of calm and clarity.

What was Your favourite part?

The body scrub was very enjoyable. And in general, the whole environment supports the experience.

How did You find Your way here?

About four or five years ago, Dr Trofimova’s book came into my life. That was where the interest began, and I also started experimenting with fasting on my own. Eventually, that led me here.

Would You recommend a fasting programme to others?

Definitely. We have been taught to eat three times a day, but the body is capable of functioning differently too.

Would You come back?

Yes. It is simply much easier to do here than at home. For me, the biggest change is mental clarity. It is not just fasting — it is a reset.
