How was this visit different from your previous one?

This time I had a room to myself. And honestly, being alone was wonderful in its own way — just being by yourself, with yourself.

What feels most valuable to you here?

The chance to truly slow down. Life is so fast-paced, and here you can go inward a little, reflect, and spend more time with yourself. You can genuinely step away from the rush of everyday life. You put life on pause for a moment. Otherwise, it’s like being a hamster on a wheel — days, weeks, months just pass by. Here, you can step off the wheel for a while and simply be.

How did you find the programme and daily rhythm?

The schedule is actually quite full — but in a good way. I even added extra treatments myself, because they’re so enjoyable. And that’s one of the things that makes this place special: every treatment is good. It’s not like at a regular spa, where it can feel like a bit of a lottery whether you’ll get a good massage or not. Here, you know the therapists are excellent — the only difficulty is finding space in the schedule to fit in even more treatments.

Does fasting change your sense of time?

Yes, absolutely. You realise how much time normally goes into eating and preparing food. Here, all that time is suddenly free.

Does your relationship with food change as well?

Here, you don’t think about food all the time. The whole subject just fades into the background. It feels freeing. In some ways, eating can almost become a kind of dependency.

Did you make any changes before coming here?

I stopped drinking coffee before I came. At first it was difficult, but after a few days I felt a new kind of energy.

Does being here help you create new habits too?

Yes — this is where you learn how to begin again. You stop postponing your reset by saying, “I’ll start tomorrow.” It happens here and now.

Did you also take something valuable from the lectures?

The lectures here are very informative. Even if you don’t remember every number or detail, the information makes you think and helps you become more aware.

Are you planning to come back?

I’d love to. Ideally, I’d come at least once a year.

What is your favourite treatment?

Definitely the massages. But honestly, everything — the specialists here are so good.

Is weight loss also one of your goals?

To some extent, yes. But I also came here to rest and simply be with myself.

How is this different from a typical holiday?

It’s in a completely different category. It’s not a ski trip, a beach holiday, or a getaway to Turkey. Here, you’re investing in your health.

Would you recommend a fasting retreat to others?

Absolutely. It’s difficult to explain the experience to someone who hasn’t been through it themselves. But I can see how many people would really benefit from something like this.
