Description
Coenzyme Q10 supports mitochondrial energy production and cellular respiration. For the first time, Pro Q10 Spectrum combines two innovative and highly bioavailable Q10 raw materials in one formula.
Coenzyme Q10, also Q10 for short, became known primarily through the cosmetics industry. But it’s not just important for our skin, it’s for every one of the approximately 37 trillion cells in our body. It occurs especially in the “powerhouses of cells” – the mitochondria – where about 90% of all energy in our body is produced. And this energy is needed for almost all processes in our body. They cannot function without energy.
Q10 belongs to the group of vitamins, i.e. it is a vitamin-like substance that the body can produce on its own, unlike vitamins. However, studies show that the body’s own production of Q10 decreases steadily from around the age of 20. In addition, e.g. B. Stress, competitive sports, unhealthy lifestyle, smoking and taking certain medications increase this process. To combat Q10 deficiency, it may be helpful to take a supplement in addition to a healthy diet.
Ingredients
Coenzyme Q10 allows cells to breathe properly:
As an important electron carrier in the mitochondrial respiratory chain, it is essential for cellular energy production. In the body, Q10 exists in two forms: oxidized ubiquinone and reduced ubiquinone. Both have partially different functions.
For the first time, Pro Q10 Spectrum combines two innovative and highly bioavailable Q10 raw materials in one recipe.
Normal Q10 is relatively poorly absorbed by the body. The two selected raw materials of the Q10 brand in Pro Q10 Spectrum are anything but conventional: both come from natural fermentation, are bioidentical to the body’s own Q10 and, thanks to innovative processes, absorb many times better than ordinary ubiquinone.
CAVAQ10 ® ubiquinone is up to 18 times more bioavailable than regular ubiquinone because it forms a complex with cyclodextrin. Cyclodextrins are special ring-shaped carbohydrates that contain fat-soluble substances such as ubiquinone and, above all, significantly improve their solubility in water and thus their absorption in the body.
Kaneka Ubiquinol™ is up to 7 times more bioavailable than regular ubiquinone. Its microencapsulated
